Welcome to the Mountain Plains Management Conference 2007, hosted by the College of Business and Technology of the University of Nebraska at Kearney. This annual conference brings together friends and colleagues who are researchers, teachers, practitioners, and students to deliberate on and discuss their scholarly works and contemporary issues in all areas of business and business education. Is your interest in Management, Marketing, Economics, Accounting, Finance, Business Law, International Business, Information Systems, or an industry-specific topic? These are all areas for discourse. The theme of this conference, “UNFINISHED BUSINESS: NEW IDEAS AND CREATIVE SOLUTIONS,” also encourages submission of cross-disciplinary intellectual works that enhance our awareness and knowledge of unresolved issues relating to business and business-pedagogy.
